Parents can sign up for an eight-week workshop that will help them learn about their child’s development and how unconditional love and setting limits encourages a harmonious family life.

Held Saturdays from Oct. 8 to Nov. 26, the sessions are based on the work of therapist Harville Hendrix and his Imago dialogue process, which helps people listen and respond to each other in more effective ways.

The workshop will help participants make more conscious choices about their parenting decisions rather than reacting in the heat of the moment. The sessions will take place from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Argyle Institute of Human Relations, 4150 Ste. Catherine St. West, Suite 328. The cost is $350 for individuals and $500 for couples. Workbooks are included.
