Dr. Alissa Sklar will be giving a talk called "Cell Phones, Sexting and Social Media: What parents need to know about their teens and technology" on February 6, 2012 at Ometz West Island. This free seminar will address the following issues:
- How technology use affects high-risk behaviours
- How technology use has changed adolescent behaviours, from socializing and dating, to school work and sleep
- How to keep your kids talking to you about what is on their mind
