Workshop about juggling caregiving duties April 11

Many parents find themselves squeezed between the demands of a job, family life and providing care for an elderly parent. Now they can learn strategies for managing these demands at a free workshop, entitled The Sandwich Years that will be held at St. Monica’s Church in N.D.G. on April 11, 2012 from 7:15 p.m to 9 p.m. Participants will discuss burnout, self-care, community resources and the pros and cons of being a caregiver to an ailing parent.

Accredited teenage babysitters are available to watch kids aged 4 to 12 for free. People need to register one week prior to the event. St. Monica's Church is located at 6405 Terrebonne St., N.D.G.

To sign up, call Anna Diodati at (514) 481-0267 or e-mail annadiodati@hotmail.ca.
