The Pointe Claire-based West Island Music Academy is expanding eastward, with the opening of a second location in Cote St. Luc.

The school offers private lessons in guitar, bass, piano, voice, drums and other instruments in both modern and traditional styles. It also offers rock band classes and demo recording for children ages 5 and up.

There are also classes for babies and toddlers, including a Mommy and Me program, a “little musicians” class for children 18 months to 3 years, and a pre-k music program for 3- and 4-year-olds.

The locations are 61 Place Frontenac, Building E in Pointe Claire and 5555 Westminster #312 in Cote St. Luc.  Fall sessions begin Sept 3.
