There are a number of spring break camps in and around the city that are offering a virtual option this year because of the pandemic. These organizations are trying to find innovative ways to make the experience interactive and fun.

Below is an alphabetical list of virtual Spring Break camps that will run March 1-5, 2021 (unless otherwise indicated) – check back regularly as this article will be updated.

A variety of activities will be offered throughout the week – some online and some in-person at a D.D.O. park. Activities include drawing challenges, Zoom escape rooms, magic workshops, family bingo, TikTok dance challenges, and much more.

Chess’n Math Association

Campers will participate in a variety of activities, including lessons, tournaments, game analysis and simultaneous games with young Quebec champions. Two- and three-day options available.

A variety of online activities including physical activities, art, culture, team activities and a daily show. Reserved for Pointe-Claire residents.


Creative Video Virtual Camp

Campers will be taught film-making skills and get to make a movie online. Each group will create their own movie. Campers will film their own scenes and then the group’s director will edit the final product. Once camp is over, there will be a live virtual film screening on our Youtube channel that has more than 25,000 subscribers.


Explorations Learning Camp

Dates: February 22 – 26 and March 1 – 5
Explorations will be hosting two virtual March break camps this year with activities such as Minecraft, chess, cooking chemistry, film and more. With activities in art, science, engineering, technology, media and math, campers will take part in activities to promote problem-solving skills and boost creativity.

Each day, two separate nature-themed workshops will be offered to children and their parents where they will learn more about mammals, birds, reptiles, and insects. The workshops are in French by a naturalist.


Musical and Creation  Spring Camp

Children can take part in a variety of activities such as drama games, music, art, yoga, steel-pan workshops, and more. There will be a performance on the last day of camp.
