Travel back to time of Napoleon
Families wanting to explore French history won’t want to miss a new exhibit entitled “Treasures of Napoleon: A rendez-vous with history,” which runs May 16 until Sept. 1 at the Notre-Dame Basilica.
The collection features paintings, sculptures, tapestries and furniture, all displayed in a crypt of the basilica. It’s a unique opportunity to learn more about the Napoleonic times, as well as visit one of Montreal’s most famous churches.
The basilica is located at 444 St. Sulpice St. in Old Montreal. Tickets range from $12 to $20. Admission for children under 5 is free. Group discounts are available.
