Three St. Patrick’s Day parades around Montreal

For nearly 200 years, Montrealers have celebrated the city’s Irish heritage by hitting the streets for the annual Montreal St. Patrick’s Day parade. Despite the unpredictable weather, parade goers paint their faces and don their greenest attire.

The day will showcase the myriad talent the city has to offer, including countless floats, dancers, and musicians who will proceed along Ste. Catherine St. Trophies and prizes will also be handed out to different parade entries.

The festivities will begin at noon on Sunday, March 20, 2016 as the parade makes its way through the downtown core starting at the corner of Fort and Ste. Catherine Sts. and ending near Phillips Square. For more information, visit montrealirishparade.com.
