This Just In: Toons For Toddlers shows In the Night Garden this Weekend
Toons for Toddlers, which are movie screenings meant especially for two- to five-year olds, is hosting special screenings of In the Night Garden this weekend. The forecast at this point is for rain on Sunday, so it might be a good day to try it. (Check out more rainy day destinations and suggestions)
Toons for Toddlers screenings run for 60 minutes, the sound is not as loud as it is for regular features, and the lights are only partially dimmed. At this weekend’s screenings, kids receive stickers and postcards.
In the Night Garden is a British children’s show whose characters Iggle Piggle, Upsy Daisy, Makka Pakka live in an imaginary world and speak in a squeaky nonsense language. They travel in a vehicle called a Ninky Nonk. Or, if they want to go by air, they hop the Pinky Ponk.
