This Just In: Star Wars to Hit the Bell Centre

Calling all Star Wars fans (ie: males age seven and up). Star Wars: In Concert comes to Montreal Nov. 25 at 7:30 p.m. It’s a Bell Centre show that features the music of Star Wars, performed by a full orchestra and live chorus, with montages from all six Star Wars movies, plus narration by Anthony Daniels, the actor who played C-3P0.

The Star Wars: In Concert website offers no information about age range for the show, but given the complexity of the Star Wars movies and the fact that the show is two hours long, it’s probably not for kids under age seven.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m.
Price range: $35 to $75.
Go to the website to order tickets or call: 514-790-2525.

Toy Story 3-D Double Feature

Also, opening this weekend at the movies is a double feature of Toy Story 1 and 2, in 3-D. Check out the Cinema Montreal website for cinemas and times.
Common Sense Media (which gives parent-targeted reviews) recommends the 3-D versions of the Toy Story movies for age 4 and up. Oh, and mark your calendars now, because Toy Story 3 is coming out June 2010.
