Virgin Radio 96 radio station (formerly Mix 96) launches its annual Movies in the Park series today, with a screening of Madagascar 2 at Michelangelo School in Rivière des Prairies. Movies are shown weekly in parks around Montreal; some of them are children’s movies..

Food is served at 7 p.m., and the movie is shown when the sun goes down. Food includes hot dogs, ice cream (peanut- and almond-free), cupcakes and bottled water.
