This Just In: Kids Pop 2010

The Pop Montréal Music Festival, on today through Sunday, Oct. 3, is putting out beanbag chairs to welcome kids, in the form of the Kids Pop program.

There are several workshops (for around age 5 and up) and shows on this weekend. Moms: perhaps while dad is taking the kid(s) to one of these events, you could drop in on the Puces Pop DIY & Craft Fair. Just saying! Check it:

SATURDAY

Saturday, Oct. 2, 11 a.m. to noon: Printed Matter Workshop: Create your own cards, stationery and other products using basic printing techniques, including potato stamps. At Drawn and Quarterly book store, 211 Bernard St. W.

Saturday, Oct. 2,  1 to 2 p.m.: Picturing Personas: A Band’s Story. This workshop for age 6 and up aims to get participants thinking about the link between a band’s music and its image.
