This Just In: Christmas Bazaar with Kids' Workshops
I have a weakness for craft fairs, but browsing handmade products is typically not a child-friendly activity. So many lovely displays to crash into. So many delicate objects to squish. So many questions like, “Mom, can we go now?”
So, I’m happy to tell you about a Christmas craft bazaar that is hosting some workshops just for kids this weekend. It started today and runs through tomorrow at Eglise St. Michel in Mile End. It sounds like a hip-hop-happening event – with peirogies.
Tomorrow, the bazaar will include two free workshops, aimed at ages 4 to 12. Here are the descriptions and times:
Sunday, Dec. 6, 1 to 3 p.m.: Snowflake Making
Let it snow! Come create some unique winter wonderland themed crafts to decorate your room and make Christmas cards.
Sunday, Dec. 6, 3 to 5 p.m.: Ornaments Workshop
It’s time to turn that glue and macaroni into easy ornaments for the holiday season! Use your crafty skills to make candy reindeer, snowflakes, paper hearts, and northern stars to light up the room.
Hey kids, can we go now?
