After years of captivating children from around the world, the most famous children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles, are bringing their colourful song-and-dance show back to North America. They will be performing at Théâtre St. Denis on Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m.
This will be the first show in Montreal since 2010 when the new Wiggle team was formed, including the first ever female member. Founding member Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle) along with Emma Watkins (Yellow Wiggle), Simon Pryce (Red Wiggle) and Lachlan Gillespie (Purple Wiggle) will be joined on stage by Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus.
Montrealers will be treated to a collection of classic nursery rhymes such as This Old Man and The Wheels on the Bus, as well as old favourites including Hot Potato, Rock-A-Bye Your Bear, Do The Propeller and Get Ready to Wiggle.
In their charitable spirit, The Wiggles will continue their partnership with Corus Feeds Kids, a national philanthropic initiative that provides proper nourishment for healthy development in children.
The Wiggles new CD and DVD, Wiggle Town! will be available Aug. 9 and their television show will air on Netflix starting July 1. Tickets cost $19.50, $29.50, or $44.50 ($69.50 for Gold Circle seats) and can be purchased by calling 514 790-1111 or visiting theatrestdenis.com.
