Thanks, Hampstead! Harvest Day rocked
On Sunday, we hit Hampstead Harvest Day and it was one of the best community family events we’ve ever been to. There were tons of great kids’ activities in Hampstead Park and it was all FREE.
The biggest hit for our guys was a kind of inflatable game they had never tried before. Kids would wear a harness with a rope attached to one end of the inflatable. They had to run as far as they could before being pulled backward by the rope. They kept getting yanked back onto the bouncy surface and having to get back up. Super funny. For them and for us.
There was a mini farm with rabbits, pigs, goats, chickens and pony rides. There was also a horse-drawn wagon ride, a guy showing kids how to juggle, spin plates and use devil sticks, plus people doing hula hoop demonstrations.
Kids could pick small pumpkins …
and decorate them!
Plus, there was a good old-fashioned playground.
Thanks, Hampstead! Four thumbs up!
