Summer activities at Pointe du Moulin

There are 18 windmills in Quebec, and of those, only two are still functioning. One of them is Pointe du Moulin on ÎIe-Perrot where, during the summer months, this historic site is turned into a spot filled with family activities.

Latin dance nights will take place every Friday in July and there will be a spaghetti dinner and dance show on July 26. The site will also be selling tickets to its Zumbathon event, a two-hour marathon of cardio dancing exercise. Pointe du Moulin will also host an Oktoberfest celebration on Sept. 19, where food from Germany, Belgium and other European countries will be served.

Some of Pointe du Moulin’s regular activities include its Once Upon a Time event, which will transport you to another time with actors in costumes, horse-drawn carriage rides and a classic car show reenactment. The Camping Under the Stars event will take place on Aug. 8 and 9.

Many activities are included in the price of park admission. Tickets cost $6 for adults and $3 for children aged 5 to 17 from Wednesday to Friday and $8 for adults and $5 for children on the weekends. Children 4 and under get in for free.
