Wondering what to do with the older kids this spring break? Why not have them belt out songs as part of a rock band show and get their feet moving during a digital dance competition? All these activities (and others) will be part of the Montreal Science Centre’s techno-themed activities geared to kids ages 8-14 from March 3 to 11, 2012.
Dubbed Technofollies Spring Break, the program includes interactive workshops and shows. Families can watch films about dangers in the cyber world and the pros and cons of multitasking. There will also be many interactive exhibits for visitors to check out, including digital art-making and deciphering codes.
Tickets cost $11.50 for adults, $10.50 for seniors/students, $8.50 for children 4 to 12 and $36.50 for a family pass.
The Science centre is located at 333 de la Commune St. W. at the Old Port. For more information call (514) 496-4724 or visit www.montrealsciencecentre.com.
