If your child has special needs or a learning disability, discovering and coordinating services can be a difficult task. To make that process easier, the English Montreal School Board is hosting an event called Transitioning Towards Independence Resource Fair on April 12, 2012. 

Families can learn about more than 45 programs and services for people with special needs in areas such as health and education, employment and respite care.

The fair is free and open to everyone. It takes place from 7 p.m to 9:30 p.m. at 6000 Fielding Ave., Montreal. For more information call (514) 484-4161 or (514) 723-2845.
