In September, a new bilingual ABA centre offering services for children ages 18 months to 16 years of age with special needs opens in Laval.
Called Le Parapluie Bleu, the centre provides occupational, speech, and art & music therapy for children with developmental challenges, autism, speech delays, behavioural challenges, ADHD and gross motor delays.
There will also be a nutritionist, people to serve as “shadows” for children and consultants to help guide parents towards other resources.
Owner Desy Sacripante, founder of Enfants Razmataz preschool learning centre, says grouping numerous therapists under one roof makes it more convenient for families whose children may need several different services.
