Slideshow presentation of new novel called Ghosts

Author Raina Telgemeier discusses her new book at the Rialto Theatre on Oct. 10

Following her latest release, American author and illustrator Raina Telgemeier will hold a presentation about her novel Ghosts, which is geared to kids between 8-12.

The book tells the story of two sisters, Catrina (Cat) and Maya, who are moving to the coast of Northern California because younger sister Maya is sick. As the girls explore their new home, a neighbour tells them that there are ghosts where they live. Maya is determined to meet one, but Cat wants nothing to do with them. Being the older sister, Cat must figure out how to put aside her fears for her sister’s sake — and her own.

On Oct. 10, Telgemeier will be at the Rialto Theatre giving a slideshow presentation about the novel, followed by a question and answer period and signing session.

The event will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. (doors will open at 3 p.m). Tickets are $5 for adults. Each adult ticket includes two free tickets for kids or free with book purchase.
