Show for new parents aims to ease anxiety
As much as carrying a child can bring about feelings of joy and elation, it can also trigger anxiety and raise many questions for pregnant women. Soon-to-be parents looking for answers are invited to Mom2Be, a parenting show that helps parents explore all the ins-and-outs of what to expect when expecting.
From breastfeeding and caring for your baby to installing a car seat and the latest trends in baby gear, the show acts as a resource for parents who want to become more informed and exposed to issues concerning pregnancy, childcare and the environment.
The show will give attendees the chance to peruse a variety of exhibitors who deal in all things pre- and post-natal, connecting expecting parents with products and services available to them in the city. And each vendor will be providing a product to be raffled off with all proceeds to be donated to the neonatal unit at the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
Mom2Be takes place Oct. 25 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hotel Ruby Foo’s, 7655 Decarie Blvd. It’s free to attend, but you must register online before the show. Attendees receive a welcome bag and two raffle tickets just for signing up.
