Santa Claus will be parading downtown in November
Every year, the streets of downtown Montreal are turned into a massive Christmas extravaganza for the annual Santa Claus Parade.
The 68th edition is taking place on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. To catch the beginning of the parade, head to Fort St., where Santa will ride in his sleigh along Ste. Catherine St. until they reach St.Urbain St.
Santa’s elves, along with fairies, giant snowmen, clowns and more will also be at the parade, and they will be singing, dancing and playing music throughout the approximately two-hour show. No matter the weather, the parade will go on so make sure to dress appropriately.
To skip the stress of traffic and looking for parking, the downtown core is accessible via Atwater, Guy-Concordia, Peel, McGill, Places-des-Arts, Lucien-L’allier and Bonaventure metro stations.
