Mont Saint-Sauveur will be welcoming skiers as of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011. The resort will then be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. The cold temperature in the last few days has allowed the operations team to put the snowguns to work full time. Therefore, the 70 West and the Nordique will be the first runs to open.
Mont Saint-Sauveur will continue its snowmaking as long as Mother Nature helps with cold temperatures, allowing the resort to open more trails. For all snowpark lovers, a small park with 2 or 3 rails will be offered on the 70 West. The shop, snow school, Customer Service and repair shop will also be open.
This year, Mont Saint-Sauveur will have a hands-free smart card for quicker access to the lifts. After you purchase this new identification card, you will then be able to update it online so you won't have to lineup when you get to the ski hill. It is also renovated its bar into a "chic lounge" that is set to open in December.
