A new bilingual summer camp in Griffintown aims to make the most of a vibrant location in the Sud-Ouest borough.
Kids who go to La Nouvelle Vague Summer Camp can choose to focus on sports, arts or science activities. There will be field trips to arenas, swimming pools, gymnasiums, and arts & science centres in the downtown Montreal area.
The camp is run by the Nouvelle Vague school, a private preschool and elementary school that welcomed its first students last September. It is minutes away from Gym Gadbois, Centre sportif Petite Bourgogne and Arena St. Charles, which will be used for its sports programs.
The camp is for kids ages 5-12, with activities adapted for each age group. It will run from June 26 to Aug. 18. Parents can register kids for single or multiple weeks. Specific dates for its hockey camp will be announced soon. The school is located at 938 St. Maurice St.
