Parenting workshop in April

Would you like to find out the most effective way to deal with tantrums, sibling rivalry or teenagers who have a big sense of entitlement?  If so, you may be interested in attending the Parent Conference: Toolbox for Success presented by the Learning Disabilities Association of Quebec on Sunday, April 28, 2013.

The workshops include: Tempers, Tantrums and Tears, which will focus on why children have tantrums and offer suggestions to help stop these outbursts;  Parenting Teenagers in the Age of Entitlement will look at different strategies to encourage rights and responsibilities in adolescents and give you a better understanding of their needs; Sibling Rivalry and the Stress Connection, will also give you the tools to help reduce stress and drama in your home; and there will be other workshops, such as ADHD & Co Morbidities and The Dyslexic Brain.

The conference will take place at Ruby Foo’s Hotel, 7655 Decarie Blvd. in Montreal from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The cost to attend the workshop is $65 for individuals or $100 for parent-couples.
