Parenting conference: learning disabilities and behavioural issues
On April 17, the Montreal Centre for Learning Disabilities will hold its annual Toolbox For Success Conference geared towards parents of children with learning disabilities and behavioural issues. Some of the topics include understanding children with anxiety, led by child psychologist Eva de Gosztonyi, the effects of drugs and alcohol on teens, led by children’s mental health specialist Anna Cegielka, and ADHD in young adults and management for parents, led by Dr. Ridha Joober, a psychiatrist at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute.
