The whole family can get up-close and personal with four-legged farm animals while enjoying rides and activities at the annual Expo Ormstown, an agricultural fair held from June 7-10, 2012.
The fun begins with an opening parade on June 7, 2012 at 7 p.m. Over the weekend, families can visit a petting zoo, take pony rides, see farm animals, purchase handicrafts and, if little ones get tired, take a break at the indoor Family Centre which offers quieter activities. There are also musical performances, midway rides and plenty of food.
Admission varies depending on the number of days you wish to attend, but a one-day pass costs $5 for children ages 6-12 and $10 for adults. Children under 5 always get in for free.
Ormstown is approximately a one-hour drive southwest of Montreal. For more information, call (450) 829-2776 or visit www.expoormstown.com .
