Old Port offers fun skating activities

The Bonsecours Basin is offering many fun skating activities this winter with music, fireworks and more

Prepare to bundle up the kids and go skating in one of Montreal’s most beautiful and historic settings: the Bonsecours Basin in the Old Port.

The skating rink opens for the season on Saturday, December 7, 2019 and features great ice quality as well as music and themed nights.

Enjoy the “Fire on Ice” firework displays set to music as they burst over the Old Montreal skyline on Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. between December 14, 2019 and January 4, 2020.

The rink is open until March 8, 2020 Monday to Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.. Skate rentals and sharpening are available on site. A one-day family pass is $20, or $7.83 per adult and $5.22 per child aged 6-12; children under 6 skate for free.

Until December 6, take advantage of the pre-sale rates with a $5 discount on individual passes and $11 on family passes.
