Nostalgic fun at playable pop-up art installation

A playful pop-up art installation inspired by nostalgic memories of childhood offers a chance for adults to feel like kids again — and for kids to get a glimpse of what it was like when their parents were young.

Go Hide/Seek describes itself as real-life recess for adults. The installation features a series of rooms inspired by childhood wonder. The Instagram-worthy installations are designed to be interactive and are ideal for photo ops.

One room features a giant shopping cart you can climb inside, and floor-to-ceiling wallpaper featuring images of sugary cereal. Another has walls covered in velcro circles, and fuzzy balls you can toss at the walls. There’s also a ball pit, neon art, giant Lego bricks and candy snacks.

Go Hide/Seek is located at 4301 St. Denis St.  Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for kids 4-12 and students with valid ID, and free for kids 3 and under. It is open until December 15.

Tickets are for specific time slots so it is recommended to purchase online in advance. Visitors can stay as long as they wish, but organizers suggest allowing about 45 minutes to see everything.
