New Wiggles show coming to Montreal

Fans of The Wiggles will get the chance to see the group live when they come to Montreal on Oct. 4. On tour with their new concert The Big Show!, members of the Australian entertainment group will perform sing-and-dance-along numbers to nursery rhymes and popular songs such as Hot Potato, Rock-A-Bye Your Bear, Do the Propeller and Get Ready to Wiggle.

All members will be present: founder Anthony Field (Blue Wiggle), Emma Watkins (Yellow Wiggle), Simon Pryce (Red Wiggle) and Lachlan Gillespie (Purple Wiggle), as well as their friends Dorothy the Dinosaur, Captain Feathersword, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus. They’ll also be joined onstage by a band as well as Scottish highland dancers, ballet dancers, Irish dancers and more.

The Wiggles recently released a new album, Duets, in which the gang sings some of their favourite songs alongside popular Australian artists like Guy Sebastian, Kylie Minogue, Katie Noonan, as well as Steve, Terri, Bindi and Robert Irwin. The CD costs $12.99 and a DVD version is $19.99. You can buy both online at thewiggles.com/new-release.

The show takes place at 6:30 p.m. at Theatre St. Denis. Tickets start at $40 and kids under 12 months get in for free, as long as they don’t require a seat.
