New ride featured at La Ronde

The Tourbillon ride geared to younger kids will twist and spin them around

One of Montreal’s most thrilling attractions is expanding its family-friendly offerings. La Ronde’s 2018 season promises fun for the whole family with a new ride and a lineup of entertaining events.

Tourbillon, the new ride this year, is a carnival classic that will spin you around at dizzying speeds. The colourful Tilt-A-Whirl-style ride will twist, spin, and roll you around. With a height requirement of at least 36” (91.4cm) when accompanied by an adult, this ride is accessible to all but the youngest kids. Up to three people can ride together in one of the seven cars, for a total ride capacity of 21 people. The ride has just enough speed to make it thrilling for everyone, while not being too scary for the young ones.
