N.D.G.-based dance studio Les Ateliers Turcotte (LAT) invites kids 6 to 12 to a recreational dance and gymnastics day camp being offered for the first time this summer.
Kids dance daily and learn different styles from professional instructors. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays include a more intensive dance lesson, while gymnastics take centre stage on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In between lessons, kids enjoy lots of outdoor time with games and picnics, trips to the park, and arts and crafts projects that encourage creativity.
“We like to combine structured lesson time and unstructured fun and game time to make a camp that offers a strong instruction in dance and gymnastics, and that’s really a lot of fun,” said LAT founder LynnAnne Turcotte.
The camp will be offered for seven weeks beginning June 23 and is located at 6111 Monkland Ave., in N.D.G.
Weekly and single-day rates are available. For more information, visit lesateliersturcotte.ca.
