New climbing centre opens in Laval
The Centropolis in Laval continues to solidify its reputation as a Mecca of family entertainment with its latest offering, a wall-climbing centre slated to open at the end of March.
Clip’ n Climb, co-founded by Daniel Mongrain and Isabelle Landry-Larue, is still under construction but will be another business in the area hoping to cash in on family-friendly physical activity centres, like the SkyVenture, Putting Edge mini-golf course, and the nearby iSaute trampoline centre.
Clip’ n Climb will be available for children’s birthday parties, corporate and team-building events and other special occasions. There will also be a 12-week fitness course offered to children ages 6 to 10.
The centre will have extended hours on weekends, during holidays and in the summer and can accommodate groups, school field trips and other parties outside of regular business hours on weekdays.
It is located at 2929 St. Martin Blvd. W.
On weekdays, admission for one hour of climbing and a 15-minute tutorial will be $7.95 for children 5 and under ($9.95 on weekends and holidays) and $14.95 for 6 and up ($19.95 on weekends and holidays). A family pass (four regular-price admissions) is discounted at $69.95.
