New at Tremblant: nighttime walk & laser game
Beginning at the end of July, kids and adults will get the chance to participate in an illuminated nighttime walk called Tonga-Lumina in Mont-Tremblant. Participants of all ages can search the mountain’s forest trails for a sleeping giant who roams around a 1.5 kilometre path.
Each player will be given an interactive amulet (an object to ward off evil, danger, or disease) to help them on the walk. Tonga-Lumina is part of entertainment studio Moment Factory’s night walk series where participants immerse themselves in nature in search of a particular object or creature. With several locations in Quebec and one in Ontario, each walk features a unique theme and storyline. The walk commences after sundown and will take place every evening until Thanksgiving weekend.
The trail can be accessed at the base of the Flying Mile ski lift, across from the welcome centre and next to Café Johannsen.

Families will also have two new venues to explore in Tremblant’s Pedestrian Village. The Mission Laser recreation centre and Piinwheel popcorn bar have taken over the former cinema on des Remparts St. and both will open in July. Mission Laser is the latest addition to Mission Liberté, which hosts several escape rooms for all ages, and allows participants to enjoy 10-15 minute games of laser tag. Piinwheel, located in the same building, is a store offering sweet or savory popcorn.
