The Lester B. Pearson School Board is offering a new two-week arts and science summer enrichment day camp this year. Called Junior Voyageurs, its featured programs include: Broadway Bound, Everything iPad, Scene Soup, Glee Project, Masked Theatre, Robotics, Design Engineering, Play Production, Girl Power, Eco-Earth Project, Geocaching Treasure Hunt, CSI Forensics for Kids, Comics Creation, iCan Make Mobile Movies etc.

Campers choose one half-day course for the morning session and another in the afternoon. Classes will be limited to about 12 students each.

The camp is open to LBPSB students now in Grades 4, 5 and 6. It will be held from July 8 to 19 at Clearpoint Elementary School, 17 Cedar Ave. in Pointe Claire and costs $475 for the two weeks. The camp starts at 8:30 and goes to 3:30, extended-day hours are available.

An early registration and information evening will be held Feb. 26, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the board’s head office, 1925 Brookdale Ave. in Dorval.
