The Montreal Oral School for the Deaf has been helping children with hearing loss learn to listen and speak for over 70 years. By taking full advantage of the use of your child’s hearing technology, targeted educational strategies and plenty of one-on-one auditory-verbal training, your child’s capacity for listening and spoken language skills can achieve its best.

Many of our students become fluent in more than one language, and over 80 percent go on to post-secondary studies. For babies and toddlers, we offer parent coaching at daycares or in homes. For children aged three to five we offer a preschool program, and we have a Quebec-curriculum elementary school program with extra emphasis on literacy, as well as music and gym! When your child is ready to attend their community school, we will work with the school staff and continue our personalized training with your child.
