If your child loves drama, dancing, and singing, there is a new camp that may pique his or her interest.
Stagecoach Beaconsfield, an organization that offers programs in theatre arts during the school year, is now offering a summer camp.
There will be two options, the Magic of Musicals, in which campers can get immersed in Broadway; and Musicals Unlimited, which will focus on popular movie and television musicals like Glee and Hairspray. Both camps start with acting, singing and a dance class to learn new methods and techniques. Casting, script reading and staging will also be taught, followed by a dress rehearsal and final theatre presentation for family and friends.
Both themes are available for junior camp children (ages 4 to 6) and the main camp (ages 7 to 16)
Time: Junior camp week 1: 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and week 2; 9 a.m. to noon. Main Camp week 1 and 2: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
