The free family outdoor music festival Les Grandes Oreilles is returning for its fourth year with an eclectic variety of performances, workshops, and activities.
The program includes performances by Oktopus, a Quebecois Klezmer group, the Urban Science Brass Band, a funky nine-piece brass band that reinvents hip-hop classics, and La Clique Vocale, a dynamic young vocal group.
There will also be a percussion workshop facilitated by the École de musique Vincent-d’Indy, a family hip-hop class by the Académie de danse d’Outremont, performances by young Outremont artists, and hula hoop activities.
The event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 12 from noon to 6 p.m. in Outremont’s St-Viateur Park, place Marcelle Ferron and nearby areas. It has been adjusted to respect physical distancing and public health regulations on outdoor gatherings.
