Yippee, yahoo, hooray, bravo! We recently received notification that our team was nominated for 15 awards as part of the Parenting Media Association’s Editorial and Design Awards Competitions. The competition is judged by staff from the Missouri School of Journalism.

In the editorial categories, we were lauded for our calendar of events, headlines, book reviews, education columns, a travel story about Alberta, an interview with radio host Cat Spencer and our overall reporting.

In the design categories, we were nominated for two of our front covers, table of contents, new and notable, black & white feature layout and the overall use of photography.
Our website www.montrealfamilies.ca was nominated for both design and content! We are particularly pleased with these nods as our new and improved site is less than one year old. So if you haven’t had a chance to go online… why not do so today? We believe you will be pleasantly surprised to see all the great content and extensive calendar listings that are regularly updated.

The award winners in each category will be announced at the Parenting Media Association (PMA) Annual Convention March 1-3 at The Grand Hyatt San Antonio, Texas.
