Mont Saint-Sauveur water park
The St. Sauveur Valley is nestled in the heart of the Laurentian Mountains, about an hour drive north of Montreal. It’s here you’ll find a large water park nestled in the mountain with slides, rides, and pools that are sure to help you beat the heat.
The Mont Saint-Sauveur water park boasts slides of almost every length and height. For the older kids, there are intermediate and expert slides as well as thrill rides. The Blizzard, the park’s newest water slide, opened in 2015, features a number of twists and turns and is seven storeys tall.
There are other activities on site that come at extra cost, such as the Viking Alpine Coaster, which takes you on a ride through the forest, the Dragon, a double zipline, and four carnival-type rides suitable for younger kids.
Many of the park’s activities and rides are listed as “for all,” so young children are welcome but may need to be accompanied by someone 16 and older on certain rides. And bring along proof of age, because it’s mandatory.
The park boasts a number of food and drink kiosks or you can bring your own food and set up at one of the many picnic tables, many of which are covered to protect families from the sun.
