The largest miniature train exhibition in North America will be in town September 29 & 30, 2012 at the Sun Youth community centre. More than 20 exhibitors will be showcasing their train collection and selling various products.
Event organizer Ivan Dow, who hopes to make this an annual event, says the show will feature trains that can be pushed manually, trains to race around a track, a Harry Potter and two Thomas the tank sets. There will also be old collector’s trains, a very miniature train set that runs in a guitar case, and really large steam engines.
The exhibit runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 4251 St. Urbain St., in Montreal. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children.
