Beloved nanny Mary Poppins will blow into town on her umbrella for eight shows at Place des Arts, starting on Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012.
The award-winning musical, based on P.L. Travers children’s stories and the 1964 Disney film, debuted in London’s West End and then in 2006 it moved to Broadway in New York, where it is still playing. Worldwide, the show has been seen by more than nine million people and grossed over $644 million.
Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 21, 22, 23 and 24; matinee performances are at 2 p.m. on Nov. 22 and 24, and on Sunday, Nov. 25, there will be a matinee at 1 p.m. and an evening show at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices range from $30.74 to $117.71.
