Because we live in a secular society, children aren’t receiving the same spiritual guidance of previous generations and parents don’t experience the support network a church community once provided.

On January 25, pediatrician Dr. Richard Haber will discuss the challenges parents face because of this. He acknowledges the importance of a child’s spiritual life and hopes to hear from parents about their concerns. The free lecture takes place from 7:15 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Monica’s Church, 6405 Terrebonne St., Montreal. Babysitting service is available upon request.
