The Amazing Todsky is offering a four-week series of magic lessons that will teach participants how to do tricks with coins, playing cards, rope, paper and more.

Magician Todd Shapiro, (also known as Todsky), says he’ll be teaching children more than just how to perform a trick. “They’ll learn how to present a trick properly. That’s really important, the showmanship and how to sell a trick instead of just doing it,” he said.

The classes will be given in English and are geared to children 8 to 12. They will be held weekly on Thursdays from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. at Golteez Toy Shop, in the Cote St. Luc Shopping Centre, 7073 Cote St. Luc Rd.

There will be a session in April beginning on April 4, 2013 and continue to April 25, 2013. The May session starts on May 9 and continues to May 30.

Classes cost $10 each for drop-in, or $32 if you register for four.
