KOSA Music, a school specializing in percussion and other music classes, has moved to a new and larger location at 2207 Beaconsfield Ave. in N.D.G.
The new space includes nine studios where the centre offers private and ensemble music lessons, the chance to play in a band, as well as voice, guitar, piano, bass, drums and percussion classes.
The centre features a “Jamming Kids” program for children ages 3-5, which introduces them to percussion instruments from around the world in an interactive, age-appropriate way with parents present.
Registration for the fall sessions begins in early September. There will be an open house with free workshops on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Kids can try out drumming classes (all drums will be supplied) and there will be band performances as well as door prizes..
