Karting enthusiasts can have fun and raise money at the same time at a fundraising Kart-O-Thon to benefit the Ste. Justine Hospital Foundation on March 29, 2013 at 6 p.m.

Sonia Foti and her sister, Nadia Foti, organized the event as a way of giving back to the hospital, where Sonia’s 16-month-old son received treatment for a rare disorder.

Besides karting, there will be other activities including a raffle draw, door prizes, a mini-putt competition and food offered by Buona Notte.

Tickets are $60. Children 8 and older can drive by themselves, younger children can drive with an adult.

The event will be held at Kart-O-Mania located at 5196 de la Savane.
