Indoor trampoline park opens in Dorval

Birthday parties can be tough to plan but a new indoor trampoline park in Dorval will do the work for you while keeping kids busy and active.

Sky Zone, which opened on Jan. 1, features a massive wall-to-wall trampoline court where children can jump, climb ladders and play trampoline-enhanced versions of games like basketball, volleyball, jousting and more. The park also has two dodgeball courts, rock-climbing and a foam zone, where kids can jump and land in a pile of foam blocks.

Every activity is made for children, but the Warrior Course, a three-stage obstacle course that reflects the television series of the same name, can only be attempted by kids 6 and up.

Little ones under the age of six can visit the Toddler Zone, where they can jump on mini trampolines and play in the foam pit.

The park is open Monday to Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., Friday from 3 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 8 p.m.

An hour-long session costs $14.99 per person. A half-hour session is also available for $9.99,

First-time visitors will be asked to sign a waiver, and each child must purchase a special pair of Sky Zone socks, which cost $3. The socks have special grips that make it easier to get around the courts.

Sky Zone is located on 2100 Transcanadienne Place. For more information, call  (514) 421-3456 or visit www.skyzone.com/dorval.
