Satisfy your sweet tooth while learning about the benefits of honey at the first annual honey festival on June 9, 2012 at the farmers' market in Ste. Anne de Bellevue. Fresh honey and bee products from local producers will be available to taste and purchase. Discover honey-based salad dressings, candies and even skin care products. There will be a talk on urban beekeeping and the health benefits of honey as well as live music and activities for activities for the kids. The event is free and takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the farmers' market located near the cross section of Maple and St. George streets. The farmers' market is dedicated to promoting local, ecological food and agriculture. The artisans and producers come from the region and many of them are certified organic.
