One surefire way to discover a neighbourhood is by walking its streets. In a series of interactive workshops, Heritage Montreal will be offering guided tours of St. Henri.
On these 90-minute family tours, animators will lead kids ages 6 to 10 (with an adult) through this historically rich neighbourhood. Children will be given an activity booklet to gather information on the important architectural landmarks including schools, fire stations and parks. The tour begins at the St. Henri metro station and will make its way towards Parc de la Ferme-Brodie. Different games will be held along the way.
The sessions will be held in English and take place on Sunday, May 29 and Sunday, June 5 at 10 a.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and registration is required. For more information, visit heritagemontreal.org/en/activite/family-workshops.
