Help disadvantaged kids in Montreal
The second Great Food Drive for Children will be held from March 19 to April 7, 2013 to help Moisson Montréal, Moisson Laval and Moisson Rive-Sud provide food and baby hygiene items to families with young children.
Every month, Moisson Montréal provides emergency food aid to more than 41,000 children on the island, almost half of them under 5. Organizers are asking for everything from diapers, baby wipes, infant formula, baby and toddler cereals and pureed baby food to toddler snacks.
Drop-off points in Montreal include: Place Ville Marie from March 19 to 31, and there will be other, hosted drop-off spots with special guests at Central Station from March 19 to 21, Carrefour Angrignon on March 23, 24, 29 and 30, Place Versailles on March 28 to April 7, Beaconsfield Centre on March 29, 30 and April 6 and 7 and at the Parents and Kids Fair, April 4 to 7.
