For all the camping and nature lovers, Camping Quebec has recently released its annual 2020 Quebec Campground Guide featuring more than 960 campgrounds in Quebec. The guide is designed for all types of campers, from beginner to experienced, to help learn about and find the perfect campground.
The bilingual publication provides detailed and up-to-date information on campgrounds across the province and is organized by tourist region. Campers can search each region using the maps, which include pictogram symbols of the activities offered at each campground. Camping Quebec has also partnered with Metro to provide campers with simple recipes they can use while enjoying the outdoors.
For those who aren’t crazy about pitching a tent, there is information on campsites that offer ready-to-camp packages with fully-equipped tent, trailer or tipi with beds, utensils and dishes, so you can enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about buying the equipment.
This year, the guide includes information on campgrounds that are pet-friendly, those that allow animals in ready-to-camp units, and as well as campsites that have dog parks. Another new feature is from Aventure Écotourisme Québec on nearby activities such as hiking, kayaking canoeing, or ziplining.
Also, thanks to the Association de l’Agrotourisme et du Tourisme Gourmand, there is also information about the province’s producers of cider and wine near campsites.
Campers can also take advantage of several promotions that can be found on the pictograms and on the GO Camping Quebec mobile app. For $9.99, you can purchase a digital coupon book that provides discounts on campground fees, activities and extras like campfire wood.
Copies of the Quebec Campground Guide are available for free at the Camping Québec Head Office at 2001 de la Métropole St., Suite 700 in Longueuil or by ordering online at the Camping Quebec website or by calling 1-800-363-0457. A shipping fee of $5 applies. A digital copy is available on Camping Quebec’s website and on the GO Camping mobile app.
